Sean Smith helps business owners, investors and landlords lease, buy, sell and develop commercial property across The Woodlands, Conroe, Spring and the greater Houston area. His work covers office, retail, flex and industrial space of any size, commercial land, and investment property.

Sean has more than 20 years in commercial real estate. Before brokerage, he spent 14 years at Chicago Bridge & Iron (CB&I), where he built and led the company’s global real estate group. He handled leases, acquisitions, build-to-suits, sale-leasebacks and 1031 exchanges worldwide, from leasing space in Dubai to leading due diligence on over a dozen corporate acquisitions.

That background, along with his CPA and MBA, means Sean reads a deal like a financial decision, not just a transaction. Clients see the numbers (cap rate, NOI and lease costs) before they commit.

Sean holds a B.S. in Finance from Santa Clara University and an MBA from Texas A&M, is a Texas CPA (inactive), and earned his Texas broker’s license in 2021. He has lived in The Woodlands since 2001 with his wife, Laury, and their two sons, and serves on the board of the WBA Baseball Academy.
